Free Crisis Psychological Support
I am fundraising to support Free Crisis Counselling helpline that offers psychological support in Ukraine to everyone who finds it hard to cope during the ongoing war in Ukraine. Immediately after Russia's attack on Ukraine, Vartozhyty Foundation extended their existing helpline to offer help to Everyone. Free consultations are offered by a team of 50 experienced counsellors. While there are more immediate needs for food and shelter, it is apparent that this crisis will have a long-term negative impact on people's mental health.
Every donation is important and all the money will go directly to provide psychological help to those affected by war.

Story (1 March, 2022)
"So it is day 6 of Russia’s onslaught in my country. As my friend in Ukraine says I don’t know what day it is today but I know it’s day 6.
The Russian dictator keeps terrorising his own people, his neighbours & the world & is becoming more unhinged by the day.
So I’ve done my usual (very) early morning routine of checking in with friends & family in Kyiv via chats, it’s short, just “you ok?… yes ok”. Most of them spent the night in basements, underground stations & other shelters. Many of my friends joined Kyiv Territorial Defence & are learning how to shoot…
Since last Thursday I’ve gone through feelings of shock, disbelieve, helplessness, anger and hatred! Yesterday I broke down in tears, for the first time since this nightmare began when my friend sent me a picture of her 4-year-old daughter sitting on top of a suitcase at the Polish border… They are now safe in Poland and are taken care of by volunteers who provide food, drinks and shelter.
Kindness of people of Poland & other bordering countries is absolutely overwhelming… ❤️
Similarly, everyone I’ve known here in the UK has reached out with kind words of support & offers to help…
