North Olmsted Free Community Meal Program

Donation protected
14 Years of giving back to our community. Join us as a volunteer or consider donating to our fund. WWJD? Feeding people is high on the list.

That's over 16,000 meals to date. We provide meals near the end of the month, the last Thursday of each month, as a means of helping our neighbors when then end of the month rolls around and finances are in short supply.

It may surprise you as to the number of families in our community that need a wholesome meal.

You can participate either in person, with a donation or both! We would love to meet new volunteers.

Over 14 years ago members of three North Olmsted churches:
  • Saint Clarence Catholic Parish,
  • Saint Richards Catholic Parish and
  • North Olmsted United Methodist Church
joined together to start a Free Community Meal program.

Every month, volunteers from these churches get together and prepare meals. They serve anywhere between 80-150 meals for those in need in our community. It costs a little over $2.50 for each meal. We hope to raise enough to feed families throughout the year.

We serve these meals from the same location every month at the church in the woods, North Olmsted United Methodist at 4600 Dover Center Road.
  • It makes it easy to remember where to go and
  • it keeps the wear and tear on appliances limited to only one church kitchen.
