I am raising funds to start a free art program for veterans in my community. As someone who served as the assistant director for the arts and crafts program at Minot Airforce Base, I witnessed firsthand how many active duty military personnel struggle with the challenges of a secluded life. I also know, from my own experience as a veteran, how difficult it can be to cope with everyday life after service.

I have been painting and drawing art for over 40 years, and I know the healing power that creativity can bring. This program will offer free art classes to veterans, providing them with a safe and supportive space to express themselves and connect with others who understand their journey. The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing art supplies and renting a space to hold the classes. Through art, I hope to help veterans find new ways to heal, build community, and regain a sense of purpose.
