Adnan Syed is an innocent man behind bars and has been since he was 17 years old, for a murder he didn’t commit.
James and Ollie are committed to helping raise money to support the efforts to help get him acquitted.
They have decided to do a 3 day fast to encourage all their friends and family plus all supporters of Adnan and all listeners to their Podcast, My Friend has Never Listened to a Podcast.
Please give whatever you can, any amount would be greatly appreciated.
If you would want people to fight for you if you were wrongly incarcerated, then we ask that you give whatever you can to support this extremely good cause.
Giving up food for 3 days is a drop in the ocean compared to what Adnan has had to endure these last 21 years but hopefully it will help reinvigorate support for his case. After Serial, there was plenty of support for Adnan. However the State have fought over the years to keep him in prison every step of the way. They desperately don’t want a retrial as they’ve got no real evidence against him. The State is hoping that if they fight long enough, people will lose interest in Adnan’s case, but we won’t let that happen.
Last year the state even offered Adnan a deal to plead guilty and they would release him in 4 years. Adnan is not prepared to admit to something he didn’t do, so without support he may never get released.

'The pair started a weekly audio show, My Friend has Never Listened to a Podcast, where they review hit podcasts and it has now inspired them to help free one of the podcasting world's biggest names - Adnan Syed - from jail.
The co-hosts have vowed to complete a three-day fast from Sunday, July 19, to raise money and thrust Adnan's acquittal effort back into the spotlight.
Famous American podcaster Rabia Chaudry has also joined their plight.
The pair say they knew their plight was gaining traction when they garnered support from famous American podcaster Rabia Chandry - Adnan's childhood friend, co-host of podcast Undisclosed and author of the book Adnan's Story: The Search for Truth and Justice After Serial.
Rabia contacted them via Twitter, pledged to join their fast and encouraged others to join the plight.'
