Fredi Ponce Parra, SJU ’24, is enduring a difficult moment right now and we are asking for your support, prayers, and care.
On January 5th, there was a fire in Fredi’s home in Minneapolis, destroying most of his family’s belongings and leaving the house unlivable for him and his family. Thankfully, Fredi and his mom, grandmother, and cousin were able to escape the fire without physical injuries. Fredi called this place home since birth but they are now staying with neighbors in Minneapolis and getting support from the Red Cross. Furthermore, earlier this week, Fredi’s car was broken into twice, prior to the fire and its contents were stolen. The morning of the fire, Fredi was sleeping because he had been up all night hoping his car would not be stolen a third time.
Anyone who knows Fredi knows that he is the first to help someone else in need and often the one leading another’s cause, but now finds him and his own family in need. He is so loving, smart, and capable and surely will get through this challenging time but would greatly appreciate your support!
Please consider donating to help with their family's basic needs as they look to recover from this tragedy...
