FRC #9181 - PlatyPirates - All-Girls Robotics Team

 We are the only all-girls FIRST Robotics Competition team in Houston and have competed consistently since 2009 and as early as 2000 under different team numbers. Recently, our school administration announced that they would no longer allow students to participate in FRC. We have met with the school several times since this was announced, and it's been made clear that this decision won't change. We want to continue to be involved with FRC as an all-girls team, so we are raising the money needed to start a community team - registration as a new team, tools and materials, competition fees, trailer rentals etc. Although registration is $6000, we're ultimately aiming for $15000-20000 for a smooth first season. Any amount helps!
