Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society Requires Help

The Fraser Valley Down syndrome Society is based out of Abbotsford and supports individuals with Down Syndrome from Langley to Hope.

FVDSS has been providing programs for families of children with Down Syndrome for over 16yrs.

Unfortunately they have encountered a financial crisis and are at risk of losing their Center.

They provide programs in Fine and Gross motor skills, Music Therapy, a playgroup for young children, Social and Emotional programs for teens and adults with Down Syndrome and informational support for parents.

My son has been involved in many of these programs and we have seen true benefits from attending them. Please help us save our center so we may continue to support all of our families and new families to come.

As a volunteer-run organization with no paid employees, the funds we raise are used to provide support, resources, and education to families with individuals with Down syndrome, and programs, services and family events that support the developmental, cognitive, social and emotional well-being of individuals with Down syndrome.
