Frankie's 20,000m Sponsored Swim March Challenge

Hi I'm Frankie

18 months ago, I had to perform CPR on someone while on holiday. Luckily, I and others around me, had CPR training and were able to step in and help, but there was no defibrillator available.

Thankfully, they survived but that day has stayed with me. It's made me realise just how important it is that people know CPR, communities have access to defibrillators when they’re needed most, and we all live life fully.

So in March I’m committing to swimming 20,000 metres (that’s 800 lengths of a 25m pool) to raise money for causes that focus on preparedness, resilience and empowering others.

If you’re able to sponsor a length, donate what you can, or simply share this page, I’d be incredibly grateful.

Funds raised will be split equally between:

Restart the Heart CIO: A Greater Manchester charity helping communities be ready to save lives, by installing publicly accessible defibrillators and providing CPR and defibrillator training, so more people feel confident responding in an emergency.

1st Patricroft Guides: Part of Girlguiding in Eccles, supporting girls aged 10–14 to build confidence, resilience and life skills through new experiences, challenges and opportunities they might not otherwise have.

Being prepared saves lives.
Building confident young people shapes the future.
Together we can be ready, save lives, and help others live fully.
