Frankie, Finn & Nate Lost their Mom Too Soon

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we share the devastating loss of Katie, a cherished wife, mom, daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and friend.

Our beloved Katie, a 36-year-old mom of 3, passed away unexpectedly this past week. A typical morning turned into a sudden tragedy and all who loved her are devastated. Katie leaves her husband Ian with Finn & Frankie who are 4-year-old twins, and little Nate, who just turned 3.

Katie was a young, vibrant, “bright light” who treasured her children and her family and will be greatly missed by all.  She was active and fun loving and always looking for new adventures for the kids to help them explore, have fun, and learn and grow. Katie was also passionate about education and was completing her Master’s in Education degree.

In addition to the unimaginable emotional pain, this sudden loss comes with significant monetary needs to be met. The family needs help with funeral expenses, costs to relocate closer to family who can share in the care of the children, day-care and tuition costs, and more.
