Hi my name is Frankie, I am 14 years old and I am studying for my GCSE’s.

I have been in the Scouting movement for 8 years and I am doing my Young Leader training.

I volunteer with Pythons Scout Troop of the 1st Woodmancote Scout Group, and we are going on a trip to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland in February 2027.

For me to be given this opportunity of a life time is amazing and I am so excited.

This trip will cost a lot of money as we are going in February when there will be snow on the ground so I will need a lot of kit as well, and I want to help my parents raise as much money towards it as I can, so I am trying to fundraise as much as possible.

I am starting with a sponsored bike ride. Mountain biking is my other passion so I wanted to use this to help me be able to attend the trip.

I am going to ride 760 miles; the distance from Cheltenham to Kandersteg International Scout Centre!
