Frank Olean Center Eagle Project
Donation protected
My name is Luke DeFedele and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 121 Hopkinton, RI working on my Eagle Project. For those who don't know, the Eagle Project is a project that is planned entirely by the scout that benefits the community in some significant way.
My goal of my Eagle Project is to completely restore the sensory garden at the Frank Olean Center in Westerly, RI. The Olean Center is a non-profit community-based organization that is devoted to helping kids and adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities better integrate themselves into the community and society. The sensory garden is often used during the summer but it currently in a state of disarray. My project will involve replacing the fence, fixing the garden beds, and developing a lunch time area in a now-overgrown platform.
If you donate to our cause, you will receive a digital certificate with your name and the amount of money that donated as an showing of our appreciation. Any extra funds that are raised after the required amount is met will be donated directly to the Olean Center for whatever they might need it for.
