Frane' Fight: Overcoming Trauma and Child Human Trafficking

Hi, my name is Fran-e, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support as I navigate one of the most challenging seasons of my life.

Since 2022, my life has been a journey of profound loss, transformation, and resilience. When my grandmother passed away, it triggered a period of deep self-reflection. I had lived a life of terror, and she had been my refuge. During her final years, I was able to start healing from deep and extensive childhood sexual assault that led to me being 200 lbs at the age of 10.

Shortly after, I entered full-time therapy and made the difficult decision to end my 10-year marriage. While it was the right choice for my growth, it came with unexpected challenges.

Through grief and uncertainty, I found solace in something I’d struggled with for years—my health. Despite years of little progress, I committed to prioritizing my fitness. Over the past several years, I’ve lost over 300 pounds and discovered not just physical strength but a renewed sense of purpose for lifelong results.

In January 2023, I lost my role as a small group leader at my church, where I had mentored students for seven years, because I violated an in-house morality clause for choosing to leave my marriage. That loss devastated me, both emotionally and spiritually. I was already walking in darkness but choosing to bring light to those around me.

Life spiraled further when my car was vandalized while working at a staffing agency, and I faced months of unemployment. Despite my best efforts and months of job searching, I remain underemployed, making it difficult to keep up financially. Today, my car was repossessed, leaving me feeling like I’m drowning.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to ask for your help. Your support will allow me to:

• Recover from financial setbacks, including catching up on months of utility and gas bills I fell behind while trying to care for both of my disabled parents

• Continue pursuing my dream of inspiring others as a motivational speaker, sharing my story of using life’s trials as a launching pad for transformation.

My goal is to inspire others to persevere and take control of their lives, no matter how overwhelming the challenges may feel.
