Franco Pederzini Memorial Fundraiser

Franco who touched the lives of many. To honor his legacy, all proceeds from our fundraising in Franco's name to the Vancity Girls Club.

We are asking for your support to honor the memory of Franco Pederzini, who passed

away a few years ago at the age of 35. Franco was a beloved member of our

community and was dedicated to his family and a loyal and loving friend to

anyone who knew him. We have established a memorial fundraiser in Franco’s

name to honor his memory and to support the important work of the Vancity Girls

Club.

ABOUT THE VANCITY GIRLS CLUB

The Vancity Girls Club supports primarily marginalized female youths aged 13 to 22, providing them with a safe haven and valuable opportunities. Many of these girls come from challenging backgrounds, including fractured familial dynamics, low-income residential areas, familial struggles, immigrant parents, and disciplinary issues resulting in school expulsions.

Despite these obstacles, the Vancity Girls Club has become a lifeline for these children. Through their after-school club, they facilitate weekly meetings and offer mentorship programs. Within the organization, these girls find connections, renewed hope, and invaluable guidance from mentors. It is through this support system that they can overcome adversity and thrive.
