Frances birthday splash, Ballyhoura Rural Service
Donation protected
My beautiful, kind and loving aunt Frances slipped away from us on 2nd February after a short illness. She was an anchor in the family, part of everything and there for everyone. I want to do something to mark her 58th birthday on 15th March. I want to also celebrate the love we shared, and remember her sense of fun.
Over 5 years ago Frances suffered a brain injury and managed to overcome several medical challenges to return home. As a very sociable and people-orientated lady, she benefitted hugely from her Thursday outing with the girls from Ballyhoura Rural Services. She was all the better for these trips to Charleville to browse shops and have a coffee, and of course to get her all important social fix. She so looked forward to her Thursdays! I’ll be donating all funds to Ballyhoura Rural Services as I appreciate, and witnessed firsthand, how they enrich the local community and I’m comfortable in the knowledge that the money goes directly into the service and is not swallowed up by a big organizational structure.
On Frances birthday I will do a skinny dip. For safety and laughs, I will be accompanied by Charleville native and longtime McNamara friend and neighbour, Angela Jones.
I appreciate any amount you can donate.
