My name is Suzanne Holden. Years ago, I had the privilege of working with Fran Bolton at Carleton Elementary in Vancouver. I was deeply touched by Fran’s kind spirit and her unwavering dedication as our Indigenous Support Worker. She was a natural leader, a hard worker, and beloved by both staff and students.

After leaving our school—and eventually the district—Fran pursued new opportunities in social work and education. In 2022, she suffered a stroke, and just as she was beginning to recover, Fran experienced another stroke this past November (2024).

The last few years have been an incredibly difficult and challenging journey for Fran. As she focuses on her recovery, the financial burden has been mounting. I’m reaching out to help raise $10,000 to $15,000 to support her during this stressful time. Even small contributions can make a big difference, so please give what you can.
