Hi, my name is Tommy Blair and I'm raising funds for two things I hold dear to my heart after 22 years in the United States Army, preventing Veteran/Soldier Suicide and Gold Star Families.

A FRAGO in the military means a "change in mission." After 22 years in the military, my change in mission is the transition to civilian life. I want to close out my chapter in the Army giving back one last time during my transition. I've deployed with many who did not come back and gave their life fighting for this beautiful country. Thus, creating a plethora of Gold Star Families. I've also came back with Soldiers who thought there was nowhere else to turn and took their own life. The Veteran Administration statistics confirm 22 Veteran a day are succumbing to suicide on American soil.

Starting January 1st, every day I will execute 22 miles for 22 days. I will run, walk, ruck, and hit that Airborne Shuffle. It will hurt, absolutely. But it will not hurt as much as those who have lost a loved one.

My goal is twofold with this. One, I want to raise awareness for Veteran Suicide and hopefully can "change one's mission" for a positive path. Two, I would like to raise $1,000 and split those funds evenly between StopSoldierSuicide.org and Gold Star Teen Adventures.
