FP's Birthday Fundraiser: Malaria Chemoprevention

Hello! For my 22nd birthday, I'm raising money for the Malaria Consortium to provide funding to support antimalarial drug distribution programs in preparation for the summer malaria upsurge. These drugs (sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine and amodiaquine) are highly effective in preventing death from malaria in childhood, but most children in high-risk areas only receive the medicine if they are reached through mass distribution programs like the Malaria Consortium. Not all children in high-risk areas are being reached. It only costs $1.50 per cycle to protect a child from malaria.
