Foy House 92 Isabella Street, Toronto

My name is Georgia Wilder. I am hoping to raise funds to pay the taxes on Foy House-- an 1888 mansion commissed by James Joseph Foy, a lawyer, MPP, and Attourney General of Ontario. For the last few years, Foy House had held the head offices of English Testing Canada (ETC) Ltd, which fell victim to the pandemic. I continue to hold the lease on the premises, however, and I have opened the house to the public for art exhibits, poetry nights, and community events, which I would like to keep low cost or free. I am also renting party and meeting space. I would be happy to provide a free tour of the space and give a greeting card with an original photo of this heritage building to everyone who can provide a donation of $10 or more.
