Support Fox Sanchez and his battle with Leukemia
Donation protected
Life just presented my dear friends with a 'WTF' moment on Monday - news that no parent should hear about their 4-year-old son. I'm (one of many) proud aunties to this little guy, Fox Sanchez. I met him and his family on his 1st birthday and fell in love with his squishy arms and legs, big brown eyes, and a smile that makes all the ladies go 'Awwww Foxy'. He has always been big for his age and we all commented on how he will dominate in sports when he grows up. He is a gentle giant, however, not a risktaker, and is one of the sweetest boys I know. He would hold his big fat fingers to my little necklace and say it's pretty with a big smile.
On Monday, August 28th, he was diagnosed with leukemia and rushed to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He is starting his chemotherapy today. It's a long road from here, but thankfully, CHLA is one of the top facilities for treatment. I know Fox is in the best of care and he will fight through this. I am setting up this GoFundMe account to help Phil and Domini maneuver through the roads ahead. Fox also has an older brother Ace who just started 2nd grade and I know, we as a community will take care of him too. I am all in - 100% TEAM SANCHEZZZZ!
Here is Domini's social media post from last night.
"This is a post that I would NEVER want to do or thought I'd have to do, but it is the only way I can reach a multitude of concerned people all at once with what has happened in the last 36 hours......
My dear sweet baby boy went to the ER yesterday morning for some concerns we had noticed over the past week and after all his labs returned, he was diagnosed with Leukemia. We were immediately transported to CHLA hospital where they started him on blood transfusion, x-rays, and lots of procedures for monitoring.
It has been an extremely exhausting & emotional 2 days. We have met with many specialists, medical personnel and given a ton of information. In short, my baby starts day 1 of a long road of treatment tomorrow morning.
I don't have the emotional capacity to go into great details about his diagnosis or treatment plan, but what I can tell you is this....this will be an extremely difficult road for our family and we appreciate all the love, help, and thoughts we've been given thus far. Moving forward we probably will need help, not sure with exactly what but I appreciate those who have offered. I will try to give updates when I can, but until then go give your babies big squeezes & kisses. Life truly can change in an instant."
If you have any questions, please reach out to me. All donations will go directly to the family to help with medical expenses, travel, etc. I will also be setting up a meal train once we have a schedule in place. Please email or text me if you are interested in being on the list.
