In 2017, I envisioned to organize an event during the Christmas holidays that geared toward feeding the less fortunate in the Jackson Metropolitan area. After such a successful event for the past three years, I am proud to announce that I will be hosting the 4th Annual Holiday Blessings event on Saturday, December 19, 2020! Like the past years, with the help of family and friends, we plan to provide meals and also host a “gift give away” to donate small gifts such as gloves, scarves, earmuffs, beanies, and socks to keep them warm during this winter season along with material to keep them safe during the current pandemic! However, due to COVID-19, I along with others will personally go to shelters and downtown Jackson to deliver meals and care packages to the less fortunate. If you would like to make a monetary donation towards purchasing items for the event, a GoFundMe page has been created as an easy way to collect monetary donations. The vision for organizing this event is to leave a lasting impression on the homeless to give them a cheery, loving atmosphere that showcases how our community can come together for a great cause. Your smallest donations can go the longest distance for the homeless and it will mean the world to have your help in making this a successful event for them.
