A few months ago, I set myself a challenge that I never thought possible: to complete my first marathon. Crossing the finish line in Barcelona showed me that we're capable of far more than we often believe when we're willing to stay consistent, embrace discomfort, and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
That experience sparked an even bigger idea.
This year, I'll be taking on Four in Forty-Eight — running four marathons in 48 hours, from Friday evening through to Sunday morning. That's 168.8 kilometres over one weekend, with very little rest in between.
But this challenge isn't just about running. It's about bringing people together for something bigger than myself.
The route will be local, and anyone is welcome to join for as little or as much as they'd like. Whether it's 1 kilometre, 5 kilometres, or a whole marathon, every step taken alongside me will help raise awareness for an incredible cause. I'll also be sharing live updates and tracking my progress throughout the weekend, so everyone can follow the journey from start to finish.
There will be difficult moments. There will be times when every step hurts, when stopping feels easier than carrying on. But that's exactly why this challenge matters. Pushing through those moments reminds us what's possible when we have purpose, determination, and the support of others.
I'm taking on Four in Forty-Eight to raise as much money as possible for charity, with a goal of raising £5,000–£10,000. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a genuine difference and will help turn this personal challenge into something that creates a positive impact far beyond the finish line.
If you're able to donate, thank you. If you'd like to run alongside me for part of the journey, I'd love to have you there. And if all you can do is share this page, you'll still be helping more than you know.
Let's see what we can achieve together—one mile at a time.
