Fostering Feet, Help Buy Shoes For 650 Foster Kids

Most of you know Team Schaeffer has fostered over 20 kids. But you probably didn't know most show up with no shoes on their feet. The Schaeffer kids got the names of 600 local foster children who need shoes. We can't wait to bring a smile and warm feet to 600 kids this Christmas.

Back again for the third year, our charity, Fostering Feet, has raised over $36,000 and donated over 1000 pair of shoes! This year our goal is bigger than ever, $20,000 and 650 pair of shoes. $35 buys a new pair of shoes thanks to our partnership with Kohls.

100% of the funds will be used to purchase shoes for foster children by the Schaeffer family and delivered to the Wayne County Foster Closet and Orchards Children's Services in the Detroit area.
