Fostering Together Bridgend is a small charity run by foster carers that organises events and activities for children in foster care in Bridgend. 

We work alongside the local authority and organise parties, events and trips throughout the year. This allows the children to make special memories, sometimes with their siblings who they may not see often, as well as their peers. The events also provide an important support network for the fostering community in Bridgend. 

On the 5th October 2025 Laurie will be participating in the Cardiff half marathon to raise funds for this great cause. 

Laurie was placed in foster care in 2016 and is now studying pharmacy in Cardiff University. Laurie often attended events organised by the charity and understands the importance of the work we do. 

Also running in the race will be Jeff, Craig, Ian and Alex.
