Hi! We’re Makeup4Losses, a teen-run charitable organization started by a group of Scripps Ranch High School students. We were called to action to bring a sense of normalcy to the teens impacted by the LA wildfires by collecting and donating beauty and hygiene products.
Inspired by the impact of our first effort, we’ve launched a new collaboration with Promises2Kids, a San Diego-based nonprofit that supports over 3,000 foster youth through programs like Guardian Scholars, Camp Connect, and the Polinsky Children’s Center.
This summer, we're teaming up to support Promises2Kids' Back-to-School Drive by collecting donations to provide cosmetic and hygiene kits for teens in foster care. Items like skincare, haircare, and makeup help students feel confident, prepared, and seen as they head into a new school year.
Our goal: Support 100 foster youth with kits valued at $40 each.
Every dollar helps. 100% of donations go directly to Promises2Kids to purchase these back-to-school kits for foster teens in San Diego. M4L is not a registered nonprofit, so donations are not tax-deductible.
We truly appreciate your support in helping us give back to the community—and helping every teen feel ready to take on the school year with confidence.
Donate now or share with someone who can!
Thank you for making a difference with us!
