Support Foster Youth: Give the Gift of Confidence

Adolescence is a challenging time, filled with self-discovery, new emotions, and the pressure to fit in. Many teens struggle with self-esteem, often tying their confidence to how they look—their haircut, the clothes they wear, or whether their shoes fit just right. Now, imagine navigating this phase without a stable home, carrying your life in a single bag, never knowing when you’ll have a fresh shirt or a pair of sneakers that actually fit.

For many foster youth, this is their reality. And for adolescent boys in particular, support can be even harder to come by—they are often the "forgotten group." That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your help.

I’m collecting donations for Hope in a Suitcase, a foster youth organization that hosts a special Shopping Day, giving foster teens the chance to pick out new clothing and comfort items—things they need and, just as importantly, things that make them feel good about themselves.

To make this event truly impactful, I’m seeking donations of:

✔ New branded/logo t-shirts

✔ Joggers/pants (various sizes)

✔ Sneakers (various sizes)

✔ Branded sporting goods (basketballs, footballs, etc.)

Every item donated helps a foster teen walk into their next chapter with confidence and dignity. Your generosity can bring joy to these boys and remind them that they are seen, valued, and supported.
