Foster Care Quince Queens

Hi my name is Fran McCloskey and I am raising funds to help provide 15 year old Latinas in foster care with everything they would need to have their own beautiful Quinceneara photo shoot. Each teen will get to pick her own dress, (complete with crown and petticoats), have hair and makeup professionally done, and have photos taken by a professional photographer.

The purpose is to remind these girls that despite their circumstances they are still worthy and royal. It is our hope to have them feel beautiful and seen. Many of these kids come into foster care with the clothes on their backs or a trash bag filled with a few belongings. We will provide messages of hope, love letters from Latina women and people in their lives who know them personally , as well as meaningful mementos throughout the process of picking the dress and getting ready.
