FOSL- In Memory of Olivia Richardson
I’ve decided to do something close to my heart this year, to raise vital funds for FOSL(Friends of Suicide Loss) a non profit organization, who helped me tremendously after Olivia passed away. This voluntary run suicide bereavement organization gets no government funding. They were kind, patient and very understanding through the most traumatic time of my life.
This Charity offers amazing support and help to deal with the loss of a loved one to suicide and the aftermath it has on family and friends. Offering support groups, one on one and outreach support, back up telephone and email support. Now more than ever families need this help.
In aid of this Charity I’m going jog/run 100 miles in the next month to bring me up to the day of Olivia's 1st year anniversary. All donations are appreciated and will make such a difference to a Charity that helps so many.
At the FOSL Symposium last November the keynote speaker Dr Jack Jordan explained the importance of doing something positive after a traumatic event and '' not to waste your grief.'' Taking this advice in doing something positive I can also give back to an amazing organization and in memory of one of a kind, my beautiful twin sister Olivia.
