Here’s how it will work:
Starting March 20th, we are asking all musicians to join the cause and host their own live stream concert in a city-wide, viral attempt to raise awareness and funds for the cause! We are focused on raising money for servers and bartenders in our city. With live music venues closed in our state, these REMARKABLE people are missing out on earning tips. Let’s help raise some money for these folks so we can “tip” them in the meantime.
On Thursday March 26 - April 5, we will host a digital concert series (similar to Farm Aid) where musicians will play sets sponsored by participating venues. Due to the stay at home order, we will be delaying the previously scheduled performances in the venues, but stay tuned for performances during this time frame from some of the top local artists.
PARTICIPATING VENUES: The Brass Rail, Muse on Main, Deer Park Irish Pub, Beamer's, The Ruin, 4D's Bar & Grill, The Glory Hub, Carl's Tavern, Hop River Brewing, and Funk You Inc.
Join the concert series event on Facebook! There will be tons of remarkable local musicians showing off their talents and performing from their homes, studios, and even from some local bars. Even though they are closed to the public it doesn't mean we can't enjoy live music through our Facebook live streams!
100% of funds donated will be distributed to servers and bartenders from local music venues. We are working with the owners of participating venues to compile a list of employees in need. 100% of the funds raised will go to those employees.
Please observe all guidelines from local, state, and national health officials including social distancing, gatherings no larger than 10 people at a time, and any “shelter in place” orders.
In order to obey copyright laws, no performers can ask for tips or payment of any kind during their
