This is my story
Three years ago in Denver the woman I was seeing and myself conceived a child ....
It has been a up hill battle ever since my being able to spend time with my now two year old son Remmick. His mom moved back to Michigan half way through the pregnancy and I was shut out almost completely .
I packed my things and moved back to Michigan so I could be close to the baby, I found out he was born from friends via Facebook, I went to the hospital but was not allowed to see him . His mom did eventually give in and brought him to see me a few times while he was an infant until I found a girlfriend and my visits were stopped immediately.
I requested DNA testing and by the time the results were back I was living in the Detroit area caring for my father who had had a massive stroke.
I was indeed proven to be the daddy and an agreement was made that I could see my son starting slowly 2 , 4 , and 6 hour visits once a week , he was now 1 year old , I was working third shift, driving the 4 hours to see him for what ever time I could have with him and him running to me saying DaDa made the 4 hour trip with no sleep worth every minute of it., finally my dad could go back to Arizona and complete his rehab there so again I moved to be closer to him,
I was seeing him 3 out of 4 Sundays for 6 hours for a few months until I started seeing the same girlfriend again my sons mom put her foot down and said I could not see him if I was with her, mind you she had been living with another man for quite some time.
I had to file a motion to get my visitations with my son back , finally our day in court and she flatly declared that I am a VIOLENT CRIMINAL and that I have no rightful claim to my son , as he is the product of non consensual sex ..
For those of you who know me , you know this is not the truth and for those who don't know me rest assured that is not the case .
After moving from Denver , caring for my Father for 8 months, moving back north to be closer to my son again and not to mention the $ 600.00 plus dollars a month for child support , my funds for an attorney are tight.
I have to follow through with this it's the right thing to do for my son and myself to have time together.
With a bit of hurt pride and a lot of determination I ask for your help to achieve my goal and help me fight to get my visitations back.
