Dr. Alex Logono, MD, founder of Hope Medical for South Sudan, was born in Buagyi—a village with no access to healthcare. As one of the “Lost Boys of Sudan,” he survived war, displacement, and life in a refugee camp where he witnessed the preventable deaths of loved ones due to lack of medical care. These early experiences inspired his lifelong mission to bring health and hope to underserved communities in South Sudan.
After resettling in the United States, Dr. Logono pursued his education and became a board-certified family medicine physician. Today, he works at Salinas Valley Health in California while using his own resources to build a free medical center in Buagyi, now 60% completed. Your support will help finish this life-saving facility—bringing essential healthcare, maternal care, and hope to thousands who have gone without it for generations.
