FORMBY HIGH SCHOOL FUNDRAISER FOR ZOE'S PLACE

Next week we will be running a number of charity events every lunchtime to help raise money for Zoe's Place. Zoe’s Place, based in Liverpool, supports babies and young children who have complex illnesses or disabilities from birth to age five. The lease on the charity's current site is up next year and it said it had run out of time to raise the necessary funds for a new home. Thousands of people across our city are coming together to fundraise and try and generate as much money as possible to try and save this charity.

So, what fundraising will be going on?

Tuesday 22nd October - Sweet sale in the Sports Hall (12:30-1:05pm). There will be a range of sweets, chocolates and crisps available to buy from as little as 50p!

Wednesday 23rd October- Staff Karaoke. Come to the Drama Studio at 12:30pm to watch some of your favourite teachers sing (or destroy) some of your favourite songs! You can bring your lunch and eat it in the studio, so you don't miss a single performance. £1 entry on the door.

Thursday 24th October- SPONGE THE TEACHER. This is your chance to throw a wet sponge in the face of some of your teachers! From 12:30-1:05 you can pay £1 for two throws, or £2 for five throws at your preferred teacher/target!! You will get a bonus throw if you manage to hit Mr Conchie!

All week- Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar. In form time, you will have the chance to guess the number of sweets that are in a jar. For 50p you get one guess, for £1 you get 3 guesses! The winner (or closest to the actual number) will win the entire jar and a secret prize!

Please do bring in some money and try and help us raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause.
