Help Honor Lucy Barroga Umali’s Memory

Hi everyone,

With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Lucy Barroga Umali, 69, passed away on August 19, 2025, at 3:30 AM after a courageous battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Lucy was a radiant soul—a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love. We are now faced with the challenge of giving her the farewell she deserves. The base level casket, plus other funeral expenses, and taxes is approximately $20,000, and we’re finding it difficult to cover it all during this emotional time. Hoping to reach $10,000 to offset some of the more important expense.

We’re reaching out to our community for support to help us honor Lucy’s memory with a proper farewell. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to our goal and ease this burden. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to our family.

We would need to send payment before 9/21 before the morgue starts charging us $75/day to hold her body. So that's our goal.
