Please join me in helping a dear friend of my 9 year old daughter's raise some money to off set the expenses that CANCER has brought on to this amazing family. Karyn and Bubba Ackley are the parents of 4 great kids, on a good day it is hard to make ends meet. They are a one person income family. I ask all of you to donate whatever you can to assist this amazing family move on to the next stage of their lives. Here is Caleb's story from his mom, Karyn: In April of 2016, Caleb was just not acting like himself.  The once ALWAYS hungry 8 year old, wasn't hungry, He didn't feel like playing with his siblings.  His parents took him to his family doctor, and they took bloodwork from Caleb and on the dreaded day of  April 18th, 2016 our 8 year old son Caleb was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) & ALL (Acute LymphoblasticLeukemia) and 50% chance of survival. He was immediately hospitalized at Children's Medical in Dallas which became his home for the next 8 months.  This once feisty 8 year old boy was put through the grueling treatments of Chemo, bone marrow biopsies, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, and other painful procedures.   Caleb was released from the hospital and was in Remission. He was able to return back to school and start to live his life again... for only a few months. Caleb was readmitted to the Hospital in May of 2017, where he would end up staying for several months. In March of 2018 his family received the devastating news. His cancer was not only back... but back with a vengeance. There is no treatment; there is no cure. On March 21 his Blast counts were at 6.9, the following week March 29 they jumped to 10, April 5th they were 15.7, and on April 12th they skyrocketed to a 50. With that being said, his parents have been told that they should be spending as much time as possible with him and they should start making arrangements for his passing. No one should have to think about having to do this type of planning for their child, but we can help with the financial burden. We are asking for some assistance from family and friends to help support this.  Karyn and her husband still struggle to keep a smile on their faces while they battle through all of the bills and now having to make arrangements for a future burial of their sweet 10 year old son. We understand everyone lives on a budget and if you can not donate the best way to help (other than prayers) is to pass this along on your Facebook or other social media. Caleb has touched the lives of so many. His family will appreciate your continued support, love, and well wishes. Thank You, Stephani
