The Forbes Foundation provides financial support to children, and their families, who are in need, by reason of ill health, disability, and/or financial hardship within England and Wales, but predominantly the North of England, by providing facilities, equipment and monetary grants.
We are always looking for ideas to raise funds in order to help fulfill our key objectives.
Fund raising is primarily carried out by the amazing team at Forbes Solicitors with much appreciated support from their family, friends, clients and professional relationships.
Fund raising can be for a specific need or to ensure that the Forbes Foundation has funds to support urgent or time critical situations.
Our support comes in many different shapes and sizes. For example it could be:
- a financial contribution to much needed treatment
- to provide life changing facilities to aid walking
- to provide people with lots of helping hands to decorate a new room or create a sensory garden
- to support talented and gifted children where financial hardship may be a barrier to maximising their potential.
