To know Zack is to love him as he is truly one of the most genuine and kind humans. Unfortunately, Zack and his family received the most devastating news in January. After many ER visits and overnight stays, Zack was diagnosed with Stage IV Appendix cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis (multiple tumors and advanced stage), and incurable cancer. Still, Zack's doctor is optimistic that they can control his cancer with palliative care, surgery, and chemotherapy.

Zack has already begun his treatment. While he is maintaining his spirits, he is feeling the effects and already experiencing weakness, fatigue, and nausea, making it difficult for him to manage basic everyday activities. Zack's condition has required Jessie, his wife, to take on more at work (where together, for the last ten years, they have managed a storage facility in Columbia, MD) and the responsibilities at home. Their beautiful children, Lexie (age 17) and Sebastian (age 20), are doing all they can to support Zack and Jessie; however, Lexie is gearing up for her senior year of high school, and Sebastian is currently serving our country in the United States Army.

The Reeds enjoy gardening, baking, and family dinners as a family. These are good humans. Please consider donating to their campaign to help with the ongoing medical bills, palliative care, and household bills so they can enjoy one another as they take on this fight together.
