Hi everyone,

My name is Arron and on behalf of the U8's Stratford Upon Avon RFC coaching team we're setting up this page to support very close family friends, Alex and Jen, and their children during an incredibly difficult time.

Their beautiful 9 year old daughter, Tilly, has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. As you can imagine, this has turned their world upside down overnight. Plans have been put on hold, including their much loved summer holiday as all their focus is now on Tilly’s treatment and recovery.

Despite everything she’s facing, Tilly has shown unbelievable strength and maturity beyond her years. When her dad said he would shave his head in support, she replied:

“I like your hair, don’t shave it off. It won’t do anything you losing yours too. Mine will grow back, why shouldn’t you enjoy yours too.”

That says everything about her, she truly is a little superstar and an inspiration to everyone around her, especially her younger brother William who has been incredible in supporting his big sister through all of this.

We’re hoping to raise funds to give Tilly something positive to hold onto during this tough time. The money raised will go towards helping the family, including a family holiday for when Tilly is well enough, as well as giving her bedroom a fresh, uplifting makeover. A space where she can feel comfortable, happy, and safe throughout her journey.
