Want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money to benefit Sheffield Young Carers Project, and any donation will help make an impact. As someone who was a young carer growing up, this charity means so much to me and I am so proud to be running my first half marathon in support of them.

These young people take on responsibilities far beyond their years whilst trying to balance school, friendships and their own wellbeing. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference to the young carers in our community. Let’s show them that they are not alone and as a community we stand with them.

More information about Sheffield Young Carers Project: Sheffield Young Carers (SYC) is a registered charity which has been running since 1997. We offer support to children and young people aged 8-25 who live in Sheffield and provide care for one or more members of their family who have disabilities, long-term physical illnesses, mental health difficulties and/or a problem with drugs or alcohol. We support them by offering one-to-one support, group activities, respite holidays and support with education, employment and training.
