We are Baraa, Sondos, and our daughter Yaqeen, who was born during the time of war, still living under the brutal circumstances of the Gaza war.

We write to you from the heart of the devastated Gaza. As newlyweds, we continue to face the challenges with love, courage, and determination to confront life with all its conflicts.

Here, everything changes. We lost everything we had when our home was hit by a devastating airstrike on October 28th, turning our house into rubble in seconds, leading to the loss of 10 of our closest family members, including my brother and his children, my sister and her child, and other family members. My wife and I managed to rescue them from under the rubble while she was pregnant, but their mental condition remains poor due to their fear of the sound of bombings.

Today, after more than 170 days of sorrow and exhaustion, we are searching for a safe place to live and to take responsibility for our families. We need your support to find a safe shelter and a new source of income, in addition to our efforts to provide treatment for our family members who sacrificed everything for us.

We appeal to you today to be a beacon of hope for us, to help us overcome this harsh war and regain safety.

Your assistance will cover the travel costs of $5,000 per person for our family and living expenses for the first few months. This will enable us to build a new life in a safe place, away from the horrors of war and destruction.
