For the Love of Baby Bean

Donation protected

Thank you for being here. We humbly urge you to please consider reading and sharing our story, and if your heart leads you, to consider a donation to our fight. Every single contribution - no matter how small - brings us closer to justice being served and to bringing our precious child back to the loving home where he belongs.

We are raising these funds so that we can regain our footing in order to pay outstanding court fees and penalties that have been forced upon us through this horrendously unjust and unthinkable nightmare - and to have the means to pay for a retainer for a new legal team who will truly be dedicated to helping us - who will fight for us and set right the endless cruelties and violations that have been allowed.

Written by Mom:
Since the day he was born, I was "Bean" (alias)’s sole parent. For six years, I raised him with unwavering love and adoration, stability, warmth, laughter, silliness and structure, with wonder and dreams for the future, with attentive care to help him develop in morality and faith. I created a world where Bean flourished—where he was deeply loved, safe, and free to be himself. Never in my worst fears did I imagine that world could be torn apart.

But in May 2024, our lives were shattered. In a series of predatory, malicious, and calculated moves, someone who had no legitimate or legal connection, nor any meaningful role in Bean’s life - abused the legal system and concealed proceedings to fraudulently achieve a declaration of parentage of Bean, to establish improper jurisdiction for this case in this person's own county (for their own benefit) - in Will County, Illinois - rather than in the county where Bean and I resided at the time that this case was incited (Jersey County, Illinois) - a distance apart of ~280 miles - forcing burden and impossible demand upon myself and upon Bean - and then to ultimately seizing him from his secure home and the happy and thriving life with Mom, that had been all that he had ever known.

In a series of deceptive actions and manipulative legal tactics - and failure by our own counsel, who took advantage of us - Bean was wrongfully and abruptly ripped from everything that he has ever known—the people, pets, and routines that made him feel safe and deeply loved.

In these months, we have lived in a state of unrelenting grief, outrage, and desperation. Bean is our little boy who just wants to come home, and instead, he’s being held by strangers who call themselves his family, cast into the center of a battle that has shattered us emotionally and financially.

The pain of this separation is relentless, and the financial ruin that has been forced upon us has brought us to the point of destitution.

Every dollar that I had was spent on fighting to protect Bean, but we were taken advantage of and tossed aside by those who we invested thousands and thousands of dollars in trust to fight for us.

The twisted and cruel dynamics of the corrupt players in this case then took further advantage of us as we were left vulnerable and without defense, and placed tens of thousands of dollars in fees and purges upon me.

In order to see Bean at all right now, I am "allowed" to pay $150 for a maximum of two hours every Saturday at a supervised location that is more than 4 hours away from our home - the cost just to make this journey each week typically requires at least $200 additionally in travel.

There is no justifiable reason that Bean should have ever been traumatically separated from his devoted mother and his loving, stable home and life.
There are absolutely no grounds to rationalize supervised and restricted parenting time.

In October 2024, I suffered a series of unexpected medical emergencies that led to my hospitalization through the beginning of November.

During this time, I suffered critical loss of income and as a result, I made the choice to allow my vehicle to be repossessed after it broke down once again (this was the ultimate consequence of the extensive mileage and wear-and-tear that I was obligated to subject it to in order to meet the unjust travel demands ordered by this court over the past year and a half – with numerous high-cost maintenance and repair bills through that time in order to keep the vehicle running).

As a further consequence, I fell behind on rent (it came down to putting what little money I had left towards my child and outstanding court fees, and I chose my child).

In addition, I am under obligation to pay the GAL pre-trial fees of $4944 in order to be able to proceed to trial, and that is unattainable for me at this time.

At this time, we desperately need financial help.

We are in dire and urgent need of finding dedicated, hard-fighting, and honorable legal counsel as our April 2025 trial rapidly approaches - our next scheduled hearings are approaching for January 2025.

I will never back down from fighting for Bean, to bring him back to the life he deserves. But we desperately need help—help to bring him home, to restore his life, and to hold those who failed us and those who maliciously set out to hurt us accountable.
