For the Legacy of Derrick Sams'--His Kids

Hi, our names are Letta and Darlene. Darlene is Derrick's big sister, and I am Derrick's bonus little sister.

Unfortunately, Derrick's cancer has spread to his brain and back. It is inoperable. He is in the final stages of his physical life. Derrick is currently in hospice and is making his journey back to his Creator.

Darlene and I are his proxies and have been caring for him daily. Thank you to all who have visited, helped, or sent your kind, loving word and prayers his way. We have one more thing to do together...

One of Derrick's final wishes is to know that his 4 children: Daniel, Derrick, Lamaria and Darius will be "good" (Can you hear this in Derrick's voice?--"I want my kids to be good, to be alright") We would like to raise $25,000 to put in savings accounts for the kids and to help with his impending homegoing services.

Anything that you can do, financially or spiritually or passing the word along is very welcome and will help make his final wish for his kids come true.
