For the Dontells

Many of you know (and some of you don’t) that my sister and her family have been going through a trying time for the last (almost) four years. This has put a physical, mental, emotional and financial strain on my sister as she has tried to brave the storm for her children as well as for herself. And although she has handled the last three years with grace and strength no one person should ever know or have to face, she is now faced with even more financial challenges as we draw (hopefully) close to an end to these difficult times.

My sister is one of the strongest people I know. All while being a full time cyber-teacher, she has taken on the full time role of both parents to her two amazing children, Charlee and Clayton since November 2020 and she has done a phenomenal job(if I do say so myself). With their busy schedules from homeschooling, baseball, gymnastics, Girl Scouts, etc. my sister gives all of herself and more to be the very best for her kids, so they are never faced with the dark and ugly world around them. My sister is the definition of “Be a Light” and I’m so extremely proud of her.

She is not one to ask for help especially with money but I would ask that if you can spare just a little something to help this amazing woman and her family, please do. And if you’re a praying person, pray. Pray hard and often for this mama, her babies, and their family in hopes that their family finds closure and peace with all the days that are ahead of them.
