PC Jim Dinan tragically passed away unexpectedly on 8th August 2026 at the age of 50 years old.

Jim was a lovely person who always had a smile on his face and made time for others. He was a dedicated police officer of 24 years and his team were a second family to him. He loved his job so much.

Jim was a devoted husband and father to his two children. He loved nothing more than winding them up and making them laugh.

Understandably, his family are devastated at this time.

I have created this go fund me page to raise money for Jim’s two children who are 18 and 13 years old. The funds will be divided equally between them for anything they may need. I know money will never bring their dad back, but it will help to provide for their future the way Jim would have wanted.
