Help Luul's Children After their Mom's Demise

We are heartbroken to share the devastating news of Luul Abdiaziiz, a mother expecting her seventh child, who was tragically killed in her own home. This heinous act occurred in the presence of her six children, perpetrated by the individual who should have been their protector—her husband. Some of her kids also sustained some burns when the fire engulfed almost the whole house.

Her husband was apprehended and brought to justice on March 6th, 2024, yet this does little to fill the void left by their loss. Now, these six young souls are navigating the world without the embrace of their mother, bearing the heavy burden of a memory that no child should ever carry. The psychological impact of witnessing such a heinous act is profound and will undoubtedly affect them for years to come. These children are now facing a battle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a condition that requires professional intervention, therapy, and ongoing support to navigate.

The journey towards healing from PTSD is complex and costly. Therapy sessions, counseling, and potentially long-term psychiatric care are essential for helping these children process their grief, trauma, and the shock of their altered reality. The medical costs associated with treating PTSD and ensuring the mental health of these children can be overwhelming, especially in the absence of their primary caregivers.
