For the beloved parents of baby Giselle Le Gal

It is with a heavy broken heart to share that baby Giselle (Gigi) Thessa Le Gal joined the angels in Heaven while being held in her mother and father's loving arms on the morning of Thursday, March 4, 2021.
The journey of becoming parents for Laura and Evan has been full of ups and downs due to 3 previous miscarriages. Despite the hardship, Laura and Evan never gave up on their dream of a family. The day finally arrived when they were expecting their soon-to- be baby.
Baby Giselle was born Sept 6, 2020 and was loved immensely by not only her parents, but by many others including family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ from Tap Nights in Richmond.
Sadly in their detailed 20-week ultrasound, they learned that baby Giselle was diagnosed with a large hole in her heart (AVSD) that led to further complications at birth. With great courage, their faith remained strong. Both Laura and Evan committed all their love and energy to bring baby Gigi into this world.
Prior to their first family Christmas, Giselle spent 10 days in hospital and was put on life support due to having a fast heart rate that lead to further heart damage. She survived the ordeal and was scheduled for an open-heart surgery in February 2021. February came and the surgery date arrived sooner than they had anticipated. Hope was given.
While the surgery went well and her heart was repaired, she suffered complications soon after. Her little organs were fighting to survive and keep up with each heavy breath. Her mother and father celebrated baby Giselle's 5 month birthday at the hospital with tubes of hope attached to her little body. Laura and Evan were dedicated parents at the hospital each day from morning rounds to nightly shift change.
Baby Giselle survived life support time after time. Her kidneys were finally showing signs of healing, but her lungs worsened. It soon became more and more difficult for her little body to endure.
It was with deep pain and sorrow that Giselle took her last breath in her parents’ arms. Laura and Evan are now left with an even larger and heavier hole in their hearts than their daughter had. A home that was once warm is now cold.
Please pray for this family. Although they will forever be the mother and father of baby Giselle, please pray for their future to become parents again as they so desperately yearn for more children. Laura and Evan have so much love to give to another beautiful little soul like Baby Giselle.
In light of this sudden loss and time of mourning, if you would like to assist with the financial burden as Evan and Laura have both been off work and dutifully at Gigi’s bedside daily. We want to support Laura and Evan in having the time off work to allow them to take all the time they need to grieve the loss of their beautiful baby, Giselle Le Gal.
