For the beautiful fiancé & baby of Liam molyneux
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m a family friend of Lauren Sophie and the late Liam Molyneux, who tragically lost his life on 04.02.2022. Liam battled with a rare form of cancer and spent the last nine months of his life fighting it (and kicking its arse!). Liam was trying for a baby with his beautiful fiancé, after buying their first home together, but this would stop when his chemo treatment began. Liam & Lauren froze his sperm as a back up plan as they dreamed of having a family together. They were able to carry on trying for a small 2/3 week period before the treatment began. During this window, Liam & Lauren were absolutely stunned to find that they had caught pregnant and would get their dream of having a gorgeous baby boy together. Liam fought from strength to strength, he inspired so many with his patient and positivity. Despite being secluded and often in difficult situations/pain, he never let his big smile leave his face. As the treatment went on, Liam responded so well to it all, everything was looking so good for them both as they got closer to welcoming their baby boy into the world. Liam rang the bell on 01.02.2022 and was officially due to be getting the all clear from cancer with positive signs he would be going into remission. He was finally able to start thinking about living a normal life with his girl and his soon to be baby boy! A couple of days later, Liam took ill and after a rare reaction to the chemotherapy, Liam passed away with Lauren, his mum, dad and uncle by his side. Liam leaves behind so many that love him dearly, a close family and a heartbroken fiancé and unborn baby boy. Their world will never be the same again, and I think you’ll all agree that there isn’t quite a tragedy like it. To go from the world at their feet, fighting off a huge bump in the road like cancer, to smashing their dreams even whilst going through the toughest times, for it all to be taken away so unexpectedly, is truly truly tragic. Our lovely Lauren is self employed and had worked all throughout Liam’s treatment, she was due to work up until the baby is born, however under such traumatising times, Lauren needs to take time to grieve her Liam and take the time to make sure she is fully rested and looking after herself and their unborn baby boy. Lauren would be the first person to give someone in need her last penny and also the last person to take help from anyone else. So it’s time to group together and show her how much we all care about her, Liam, his family and baby Finn. Many have asked how they can help, many want to send flowers but fear they’ll be too many so this page is to allow anyone that may want to donate in Liam’s memory, whether it be towards helping Lauren take that time off work, something for the baby or towards the funeral or other legal/admin costs that may come along, any funds raised will be sent to Lauren, in memory of Liam and to help her support their little family. Thank you to everyone supporting. rest in peace Liam, you’ll never be forgotten x
