Terry Hughes an ambulance driver friend of mine had his motorcycle stolen from Queenborough, Kent on 11/04/2020, he needs to travel to his headquarters to be able to do his frontline key worker role, which is especially important in these mad times. Since then he has been offered lots of help from family, friends & people he doesn’t even know from all over the country - either offering to lend him a car or motorcycle. Luckily he’s been able to use a bike lent to him from his work.
I’ve just seen Terry post this on Facebook:
“So I get a call from a couple of good samaritans saying they have found my bike over at kemsly substation, I go over and its f****d, complete write off. I've spoken to the police and they're recovering it and gonna scrap it because the insurance claim is going through. The insurance have screwed me by giving me half what its insured for because of excess and other admin costs, I now have to pay another £250 to a recovery company that have picked it up. I have been royally screwed by thieves, insurance companies. What a good f*****g week this is.*”

Now I know Terry is a proud man he would never ask for this himself but I feel during these times we could all club together so an ambulance driver won’t be out of pocket because of some thieving little scrote!!! I offered £100 as a reward for info that lead to Terry getting his bike back in one piece... this hasn’t happened so I’m putting that £100 in to start this justgiving appeal. Please give whatever you can & share far & wide!!!
The very best I can hope for is for Terry to be able to get a bike & a years insurance & not be any worse off than he was before he had his bike pinched! Then IF there is any money left over I know Terry & his family will want it donated to the NHS!
