Dear friends, kind strangers, and compassionate supporters,

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of a humble and hardworking man from Palampur, Himachal, India, who recently suffered a devastating and life-changing accident.

He was driving an ambulance late at night, returning home around 2 a.m. after dropping off a patient at the hospital. While on his way back, an animal suddenly appeared on the road. In a courageous attempt to avoid harming the animal, he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into trees at high speed.

The impact left him with both legs and one arm fractured. He is currently hospitalized, in immense pain and facing a long difficult road to recovery. Doctors have already performed surgery on one leg and will soon be placing rods in the other leg and arm to help him walk again.

This man has always lived a modest, honest life—a sole breadwinner doing everything he could to support his family. Now, he is unable to work and the burden of medical bills, surgeries, rehabilitation and daily living expenses is overwhelming for his family, who are doing their best but have very limited resources.

I am humbly asking for your support—no amount is too small. Every contribution will go directly toward:

• Emergency medical and surgical costs

• Ongoing treatment and rehabilitation

• Mobility aids (like a wheelchair)

• Daily essentials during his recovery
