<div>I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of a humble and hardworking man from <strong>Palampur, Himachal, India</strong>, who recently suffered a devastating and life-changing accident.

<div>He was <strong>driving an ambulance</strong> late at night, returning home around 2 a.m. after dropping off a patient at the hospital. While on his way back, an animal suddenly appeared on the road. In a courageous attempt to avoid harming the animal, he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into trees at high speed.

<div>The impact left him with <strong>both legs and one arm fractured</strong>. He is currently hospitalized, in immense pain and facing a long difficult road to recovery. Doctors have already performed surgery on one leg and will soon be placing rods in the other leg and arm to help him walk again.

<div>This man has always lived a modest, honest life—a <strong>sole breadwinner</strong> doing everything he could to support his family. Now, he is unable to work and the burden of <strong>medical bills, surgeries, rehabilitation and daily living expenses</strong> is overwhelming for his family, who are doing their best but have very limited resources.
