After a courageous and private battle with cancer Sam Tatam left us far too soon at the age of 39.

Sam was a truly exceptional human being - a rare blend of sharp intellect, genuine humility and a quick and often mischievous, humour. We had the honour to have Sam part of the Ogilvy family since 2011 in Australia and then at Ogilvy in the UK where he became Global Principal of Behavioural Science.

He left a an indelible mark on every one of us fortunate enough to have known him.

Beyond his professional brilliance Sam was deeply devoted to his family. To his beloved wife Michelle and two young daughters Mila and Riley.

His deepest fear was to not be there for them as they were growing up.

In honour of that we are establishing the Friends of Ogilvy fund for Mila and Riley to go towards their education.
