Ryna Wynn is a dear friend and a fellow Thomasian nurse.
Ryna is a brave mom of two boys, Wiley and Sebastian. She is very strong, positive and resilient.
Ryna Wynn was first diagnosed stage 3 colon cancer 3. She underwent surgeries, repairs. She has endured countless hours of chemotherapy, and the worst side effects one cannot imagine.
Ryna was able to fight cancer and she came back to work until summer last year her oncologist told her she has "Stage 4 cancer - they found 5 tumors located around the mesentery which are non operable. The doctor gave her 6 months to live without treatment - and 2-3 years with treatment".
Ryna continues to battle cancer.
The chemo sessions were way too much for her this time around, that she'd end up being admitted for the most part. More referrals & consults, they decided to stop the chemo treatments and switched to immunotherapy. The latter didn't really help either stopping the growth of the tumors, but, grew even bigger and apparentlly made its way to the spleen. Ryna is currently on palliative care and her doctor gave her two weeks to live.
Ryna continue to stay strong for her husband and most especially for Wiley and Sebastian.
We are asking for your help for the funds for her two boys. She will be very happy to see her kids in a stable disposition. The funds that we will collect will be kept for the kids college funds.
